Dr Naila Arebi graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Malta. She pursued her post-graduate training in Oxford and London leading to accreditation in Gastroenterology and General Medicine in 2004 followed by advanced endoscopy training at St Mark’s Hospital. Anthony spent two years in full time research at The Institute of Liver Studies at King’s College Hospital, London, where he was awarded his MS degree. He was a Senior Registrar at King’s College Hospital and completed his training at St Mary’s Hospital as a laparoscopic fellow. Anthony was then appointed as a Senior Clinical Lecturer at The Institute of Cancer Research with an honorary colorectal consultancy at both The Royal Marsden Hospital and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

Mr Peter McDonald is a Consultant Gastrointestinal Surgeon whose clinical research includes cancer, Crohn’s Disease and proctological conditions. He was Honorary Editor of the Royal Society of Medicine, President of the Section of Surgery of the Royal Society of Medicine and President of the St Mark’s Association.

Mr Phil Tozer was trained as a general and colorectal surgeon in London with a focus of both his clinical and academic training under Professor Robin Phillips at St Mark’s Hospital. His thesis in idiopathic and Crohn’s anal and rectovaginal fistula was the beginning of a passionate interest in advanced proctology and IBD.
